Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural, Exuberance by Julia Purdy, captures a moment from driving on I-93 North and viewing the Boston skyline.
“Exuberance describes the feeling in my heart as it fills with excitement and joy when returning to Boston, my home,” Purdy says.
Purdy is an artist working in the SoWa Art & Design district. She has a M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University and a B.A. in English from Michigan State University.
