This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and today on the mural we feature Kristin McManus. She is a high school social studies teacher at Littleton High School and the grades 6-12 History and Social Science Coordinator in Littleton. She has taught various courses in her 18 years of teaching, ranging from U.S. History survey courses, World History courses, AP courses, Criminal Justice and Law, Facing History and Ourselves, and more.
McManus has served as an Education Ambassador for GBH and New England Public Media, participated in the Street Law Supreme Court Institute, and was a Fund for Teachers Fellow, using grant money to participate in an archaeological dig and study ancient rock art in Italy.
