As we commemorate Dr. King’s life and legacy today, it is an opportunity for us each to consider how we might honor his dream of multiracial justice and peace. Dr. King’s legacy reminds us that our work is never done. He challenged us to build a more perfect union and taught us that everyone has a role to play, saying, "Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve." No matter how you may spend the day, we encourage you to reflect on Dr. King’s message of acceptance, love, dignity and equality for all.
