GBH Music celebrates the life and talent of the late legendary jazz host Eric Jackson with a concert at GBH’s Calderwood Studio, streaming live to a remote audience today, International Jazz Day, at 4pm.
The host of Eric in the Evening on GBH radio for over 40 years, Jackson passed away on September 17, 2022. He was truly the “Dean of Boston Jazz Radio,” and he shared his knowledge and his love of music with all of us.
JazzBoston, in collaboration with GBH Music, has curated an all-star lineup of jazz musicians from throughout the region who were connected to Mr. Jackson’s unparalleled legacy of sharing the music he loved with listeners.
