WGBH’s Basic Black is in its 50th year and going strong.
Over its long history, Basic Black has hosted the nation’s most influential thinkers, artists, politicians and activists, bringing diverse voices into the homes of viewers in New England and across the country. Today, Basic Black, hosted by Callie Crossley, is expanding its focus to include people in many communities of color and the issues they face.
