WGBH remembers the 50th anniversary of Bobby Kennedy’s death with an American Experience biography. This two-hour documentary features recollections of those who knew him well, including Kathleen Kennedy Townsend who provides a perspective of her father as a family man. The first hour offers a glimpse into Bobby’s life as the third of the Kennedy boys. In the second hour, see his rise as presidential candidate and crusader for impoverished and disenfranchised Americans. Written and directed by David Grubin, RFK reveals the story of one man’s ambition, grief and unfulfilled potential.
