Award-winning author, director, producer, and independent filmmaker Zachary James Miller discusses the life and work of author Richard Wright, sharing stories from Wright's time in Paris, his literary relationships and political advocacy. Miller is joined in conversation with Barbara Abrams, PhD, professor and chair, History, Language, Global Culture Department, and Philosophy Department, Suffolk University.

Zachary Miller's works include two on the great Black American author, Richard Wright. One is a biographical book called “Richard Wright: Black Power” available soon on preorder to be published on Amazon and other outlets on August 31, 2025, and the other is the documentary feature film, “Richard Wright: Voice of Rebellion” to be wrapped in October 2025 and soon after to begin its run on the international film festival circuit.
