Returning for its fourth season, Last Tango in Halifax continues the love story of Celia Dawson (Anne Reid) and Alan Buttershaw (Derek Jacobi) who reconnect after 60 years. Now married to each other for seven years, they move into a new home. But their wedded bliss clashes with real-life complications, when Alan’s new job creates tensions and his brother Ted jets in for a visit.
