GBH and JazzBoston presented JazzNOW: The Legacy of Tony Bennett, live from the acoustically acclaimed GBH Fraser Performance Studio. The concert featured members of Tony Bennett’s touring and recording quartet. This performance and Q&A highlighted some of Tony Bennett’s enormous catalog of recordings.

Eric Jackson, host of GBH’s Eric in the Evening, co-hosted this event with Laura Carlo, host of CRB's Morning Program. Eric and Laura co-moderated a conversation with the musicians and CRB’s Ron Della Chiesa following the performance.

The ensemble included:

Donna Byrne, vocals
Tim Ray was his final musical director/pianist.
Gray Sargent was Mr. Bennett’s guitarist for 24 years.
Marshall Wood was his bassist for 11 years.

This program was supported in part by grants from the Boston Cultural Council/Reopen Creative Boston Fund, administered by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, Cambridge Jazz Foundation, and by the Mass Cultural Council, and was presented in collaboration with GBH Music and JazzBoston.
