The latest episode of Open Studio with Jared Bowen looks at the roles we play in each other's lives, and the power of togetherness.

The Peabody Essex Museum's exhibit, "Each/Other," brings to New England the work of Indigenous artists Marie Watt and Cannupa Hanska Luger. Their art is a celebration of empathy, community and activism. The exhibition is on view through May 8.

Jared then looks at "Svadba," an opera film that goes beyond the theatrical norm. Director Shura Baryshnikov and actress Jackie Davis discuss how the film, which depicts a woman on the eve of her wedding, encapsulates the fleeting emotions of a bride-to-be. The film is now streaming through Boston Lyric Opera’s operabox.tv.

Finally, Jared sits down with Paris Alston and Jeremy Siegel, the new co-hosts of Morning Edition at GBH News. The two share their excitement about joining the GBH News team and reveal their personal art talents. You can tune into their show on weekdays from 5-10am on GBH 89.7.
