Here's an idea, film buffs.
Saturday, February 23 at the Somerville theater in Davis Square, they are screening three early short films starring Buster Keaton . And that's not even the cool part.
The cool part comes courtesy of World Music/CRASHarts and the Alloy Orchestra , three Cambridge-based musicians, who are the best in the world at what they do: scoring old silent movies, live, using everything from synthesizers to to old hubcaps.
They joined us on BPR to give us a taste of their unique sound and a preview of the score for the Keaton shorts.
