2012 has turned out to be a big year for films. American history has gotten the tinsel town treatment, from the Civil War inLincoln to the War on Terror inZero Dark Thirty.
Along the way an older, banged up 007returned to the silver screen--a little shaken and stirred, and a raunchyteddy bear upped the ante for romantic comedies. All this, of course, is just a sliver of what’s graced our theaters this year.
Today three film critics join us to review the year in film and to offer their “best-of” picks for 2012.
