Hi all,

A virtual news potpourri is scheduled for next week it the WGBH Studio at the BPL. Our fourth streaming show on local transit takes place on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The subject of Next Stop will be BUSES and our powerhouse panel of women includes Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu, Stacy Thompson of Liveable Streets and Monica Tibbits-Nutt, Vice Chair of the MBTA Fiscal Advisory Board. We are generating lots of buzz with this series on a topic everyone seems to be riled up about.

Right after our transit show on Wednesday, WGBH News’ Jared Bowen interviews Ian Bremmer, political scientist, commentator and expert on global risk. Come to the Newsfeed Café or watch on Facebook from 4:45-5:15 p.m. as Bowen and Bremmer examine the Trump presidency and its effects around the world.

On Tuesday and Friday, Boston Public Radio informs and entertains live from the studio. And Tuesday evening, NOVA CaféSci meets to discuss how science analyzes climate change by studying rainfall from 7-8 p.m.

After a busy Wednesday, we are back Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. when WGBH News’ Phillip Martin discusses his recent series on how India’s caste system is perpetuated by Indian immigrants here in the United States.
