Grant is the Author of MAILMAN, a memoir that chronicles his year as a rural letter carrier after losing his highly paid job as a marketing executive. It was March 2020, Grant had recently been diagnosed with cancer and needed insurance fast. So, he returned to his hometown in Appalachia and was hired as a rural letter carrier. Working for the post office saved his life, he says, and his book is a tribute to the simple heroism of daily service, the dignity and struggle of blue-collar work and challenge and pleasure of returning home after twenty-five years away, and the joy of going the extra mile for your neighbors.
