Seeta Pai

Vice President of Children’s Media and Education

Seeta Pai directs GBH’s strategy, research, and production of educational media, spanning multimedia PBS KIDS series, collaboration with PBS on PBS LearningMedia, and community-based programs. Previously Executive Director of Education at GBH, she oversaw initiatives for learning in and out-of-school. Seeta’s collaborations with award-winning teams at GBH and partners have reached many millions of young people, educators, and families, and shown demonstrable positive impact on educational outcomes. In a prior role as Vice President of Research at Common Sense Media, Seeta led national studies of media use among kids, teens, and teachers, and designed tools to review thousands of digital learning products. Formerly, she directed education, research, and community engagement for diverse Sesame Workshop international projects. Seeta has studied education and families across international and U.S. cultural contexts while in research positions at UC Berkeley and Harvard. She holds a doctorate in Human Development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
