Samantha Vega-Torres

Vega-Torres is a GBH News intern who covers general local news, as well as researching and organizing data for the investigations team. A senior journalism and media writing major at Lasell University in Newton, Mass., Vega-Torres worked as a staff writer for her university's school paper, the 1851 Chronicle, before being promoted to Features Editor. She also has experience previously interning with Fizzy Mag, where she was a culture writer intern who covered news, politics, and pop culture.
