Michael Hammond


Michael Hammond appeared last spring in the Huntington’s Prelude to a Kiss. Broadway credits include Exit the King, Big Bill, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, M. Butterfly, and Search and Destroy. He spent fifteen seasons at Shakespeare & Company where his roles included Iago in Othello,Martin Bahmueller in White People, Sir Simon in The Canterville Ghost, Sherlock Holmes in The Secret of Sherlock Holmes,Mister Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Peter Woodburn in Ice Glen, Ludwig Wittgenstein in The Fly- Bottle, The Porter in Macbeth, Prospero in The Tempest,Malvolio in Twelfth Night, and Leontes in The Winter’s Tale. Mr. Hammond has taught acting and Shakespeare at M.I.T., Emerson College, and Boston University.
