Meghan Sweeney

Professor, Boston College

Meghan T. Sweeney is Professor of the Practice in the Theology Department at Boston College. She joined the BC faculty in 2006 to teach in the PULSE Program for Service Learning, the university’s social justice education program based in the Philosophy and Theology Departments, and in 2014 became the program’s Cooney Family Director.

Before and during her years at BC, Meghan has served in a variety of contexts including in the areas of refugee resettlement, jail tutoring, legal aid, and hospital and university chaplaincies; with current PULSE community partners common cathedral, Boston Health Care for the Homeless, and St. Stephen’s Youth Programs; and in parish ministry as an Episcopal priest.
