
Megan Walla-Murphy
wildlife ecologist and educator
For over 25 years, Meghan has had the good fortune of combining her passions of wildlife, ecology, and indigenous knowledge into work of conservation, advocacy, and outreach. As a wildlife ecologist, educator, and facilitator, she works in multiple collaborations for regeneration of habitat and wildlife. Meghan is lead of the North Bay Bear Collaborative (NBBC) with over 15 member organizations including Tribes, vineyards, ranchers, NGO’s, county, state, and federal agencies. Meghan also works with Tribes and fisheries for the reintroduction of Sea Otters, meadow restoration with the Klamath Tribes, and is adjunct faculty at her local college.
