Lauren Grodstein is the author of the collection *The Best of Animals* and a novel, *Reproduction is the Flaw of Love*. Her pseudonymous *Girls Dinner Club* was a New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age. Her work has been translated into German, Italian, and French. She is a professor of English and creative writing at Rutgers University.
