Kristin Leppert

Kristin Leppert is the director of the Fur-Free Campaign. She has led the campaign to several victories for fur-bearing animals, including the agreement by prominent fashion designer Kenneth Cole to eliminate fur from his collections. Leppert's team was also responsible for the HSUS sponsorship of Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll's show at New York Fashion Week in 2006. Leppert previously managed the Hunting Issues Campaign for The HSUS, and before that was a program coordinator at The Fund for Animals, where she worked on canned hunts, bear hunting, bear conflict avoidance and other related issues.
