John Brereton

writer, executive director, Calderwood Writing Initiative

John C. Brereton teaches writing at Harvard University and is Executive Director of the Calderwood Writing Initiative at the Boston Athenaeum. Previously he served as Director of University Writing at Brandeis University. His scholarship focuses on the history of teaching English literature and composition.
