Joe Castiglione

Joe Castiglione is in his 27th season on Red Sox radio, the second longest tenure of any Boston broadcaster to 32 years for the late Ned Martin. Prior to coming to Boston, Castiglione called television games for the Cleveland Indians in 1979 and 1982 and for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1981. The Hamden, CT native has also announced television games for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and did college basketball on NESN for 6 years. During the off-season, Joe teaches classes in broadcast journalism at both Northeastern University and Franklin Pierce University and has been an active fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund. A graduate of both Colgate and Syracuse Universities, Joe is the author of *Broadcast Rites and Sites: I Saw It on the Radio with the Boston Red Sox*, which was published in 2004.
