Hannah Reale is an associate digital editor with GBH News who covers children and families in Massachusetts. She’s sampled journalism that touches just one New York neighborhood to every corner of the globe, reporting for NPR, The World, The Wire China, The West Side Rag and The Wesleyan Argus.

As an editor, she works with journalists across the newsroom to improve web stories for structure, style and accuracy. She’s a determined newshound, shutterbug and eagle-eyed editor who ferrets out hard-to-wrangle datasets. Hannah was selected as a 2024 Becton Fellow, which honors GBH producers who show a commitment to public service.
