Hamid Mir is a Pakistani journalist and editor. He is a news anchor and security analyst who regularly participates in international conferences. Mr. Mir hosts a popular political talk show on Geo TV with the name of *Capital Talk*. His achievements include All Pakistan Newspapers Society award for best columnist, the Award for Excellence in Journalism, and the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal.
