Dan Tritle | CAI

Host and producer Dan Tritle has wanted to be on the radio since he was five years old.  A washashore from the Pacific Northwest, he's been at the job since May 2000, shortly after WCAI went on the air.  He's a veteran of the Associated Press Radio Network and NPR, and has reported for several commercial and public radio stations.  Dan also is a former staff member of the Washington State House of Representatives.  As often as possible he bicycles into work on the Shining Sea Bike Path, even during the cold New England winter months.  Dan practices daily yoga and meditation, which is a big help, he says, dealing with the pandemic.  "The Wizard of Oz"  and "Casablanca" are among his favorite movies.
