Chris Rattey

Chris Rattey oversees newsletter strategy and operations across GBH. He started his career in media as a sports writer for the Eagle Tribune in 1997. He jumped to the digital side of the industry in 1999, joining Boston.com as a content producer. Rattey held numerous editorial and product roles throughout his 17 years with the Boston Globe Media Group and The New York Times Company before joining GBH in 2017. Beyond his current role, he has served as Director of GBH.org and Senior Director of Digital for GBH News.
He led a team at The Tuscaloosa News to a Pulitzer Prize for breaking news in 2011. Rattey currently lives in Tewksbury, Mass., with his wife and two children.
