Beth Daley

Reporter, New England Center for Investigative Reporting

Prior to joining NECIR in late 2013, Daley covered the environment, science and education for almost two decades at The Boston Globe and won numerous awards for her work including being named a Pulitzer Prize finalist.  At NECIR, Daley has won several awards, including first place, investigative reporting for small media outlets from the Association of Health Care Journalists and first place for healthcare journalism from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. Daley spent the 2011­-2012 academic year as a Knight fellow at Stanford University, a program designed to foster journalistic innovation and entrepreneurship.
