Andrew Massaua

Radio Engineer

A Boston radio veteran for more than 25 years, Andrew has been the engineer and technical director for GBH’s Morning Edition since 2018.

Andrew spent 20+ years in the Boston and national sports radio scene, working for entities that include NHL Radio, Westwood One, TuneIn and the NFL. Most of his career was spent covering the greatest era of Boston sports for WEEI, producing broadcasts for the Red Sox radio network and several different talk shows. Among many other highlights, Andrew was lucky enough to be covering the Patriots during their first three Super Bowl wins and on the field in St. Louis in 2004 when the Red Sox swept the Cardinals and finally shattered the “Curse of the Bambino.”

Andrew is a broadcast journalism graduate of Emerson College. He grew up in Massachusetts, raised on GBH and PBS TV.
