Abigail Pritchard

Abigail Pritchard is a graduate student studying journalism at Boston University. She is the State House correspondent for The New Bedford Light and a part-time homepage producer for The Boston Globe.

Abigail previously worked as the editor-in-chief of her undergraduate student newspaper, The Eagle at American University, where she oversaw long-term investigations, increased local news coverage and managed a staff of over 100 people across eight sections. She graduated summa cum laude from American University in 2024, where she studied journalism and political science. In her time there, she also worked as an editorial intern for Current, a publication for people who work in public media.
