It’s been a busy stretch for Gov. Charlie Baker.
In the span of just a few days, he offered jobs back to dozens of state workers who previously lost their jobs over vaccine mandates; aggressively defended his administration’s response to the humanitarian crisis at Mass. and Cass after Boston Mayor Michelle Wu questioned the state's commitment; and talked up the reelection campaign of Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who Baker is backing despite what seems like a profound political disconnect. Among other things.
In this episode of Talking Politics, Adam Reilly is joined by Politico’s Lisa Kashinsky and Axios’ Mike Deehan to discuss Baker’s muscular approach to his lame-duck months and what it might tell us about Baker’s political future.
