Michelle Wu's arrival as mayor of Boston was national news, and for good reason: she was the first woman and first person of color elected to run the city.

One year into her tenure, though, the jury is still very much out on whether Wu will be able to make the sort of sweeping changes she promised as a candidate.

In this episode of Talking Politics, Adam Reilly discusses Wu’s successes and setbacks so far with GBH News' City Hall reporter Saraya Wintersmith and politics editor Peter Kadzis.

First, though, Reilly is joined by GBH State House reporter Katie Lannan and Axios' Mike Deehan to recap and analyze the biggest political developments of the week, including Rep. Katherine Clark's rise to the highest levels of the U.S. House, outgoing Gov. Charlie Baker's eyebrow-raising interview with CNN and the Boston Globe's revelation that Governor-elect Maura Healey doesn't actually live in Boston proper.
