Public meetings became more accessible in response to the pandemic, as cities and organizations adopted virtual options in addition to — or instead of — in-person meetings. But as safety protocols are lifted, some argue reverting to solely in-person meetings is the wrong way to go. Talking Politics host Adam Reilly spoke with Kade Crockford, the director of the Technology for Liberty Program at the ACLU of Massachusetts, and Dianna Hu, the chairwoman of the Boston Center for Independent Living, about what this stage of the pandemic means for public meetings.
