Gov. Charlie Baker is not seeking a third term, but he also does not plan to exit the arena of political life altogether. The question is: How will he shape Massachusetts politics after his time in the corner office? Adam Reilly is joined by Politico’s Massachusetts Playbook author Lisa Kashinsky and Boston Globe Political Reporter Emma Platoff to discuss what Baker’s role could look like in the coming years.
The trio also discuss former gubernatorial candidate Danielle Allen calling out the state’s political system as overly burdensome for outsiders, questions about the State House reopening, and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s recent revelations that — despite campaigning as an agent of change — she’s taken several big donations from longtime political power-brokers.
