In the two months since Boston Acting Mayor Kim Janey has taken the helm of the city, she has had to contend with an investigation into the police commissioner, who was put on leave two days into the job due to an old domestic violence allegation, and another investigation into the police department’s handling of past child molestation allegations against former police union president Patrick Rose.
