On the latest "Boston's Race Into History," GBH News City Hall Reporter Saraya Wintersmith joins Adam Reilly to recap a busy week in the mayoral race, with some major endorsements and some not-so-subtle shots between the mayoral candidates.

Then, call it what you will: Mass and Cass, Methadone Mile — the area at the intersection of Mass Ave and Melnea Cass Boulevard has become a painful symbol of the city's growing problems with homelessness, addiction and violence. So what will it take for Boston's next mayor to tackle the root causes? And in the interim, how can she make life better for the people who move through Mass and Cass every day — from individuals struggling with addiction to businesspeople to renters and homeowners?

Adam is joined by Domingos DaRosa, former at-large city council candidate; Catherine D'Amato, president and CEO of the Greater Boston Food Bank; and Marla Smith, an activist with the South End-Roxbury Community Partnership.
