Boston Mayor Marty Walsh took a trip to Washington last week with Gov. Charlie Baker to push for infrastructure funding, meeting with U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and other Trump administration officials. On the local front, the city is preparing for the newly-appointed Boston Public Schools superintendent to take over, as discussions continue about how to address the ongoing achievement gap and the best way to measure student and teacher performance.

Jim Braude was joined by Mayor Marty Walsh to discuss these and other topics, including the mayor’s top three picks for the 2020 Democratic nominee.
