The friction between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and some of the more outspoken freshman members of her caucus has sharpened in the wake of new rules published by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The party has declared that it will not work with consultants or other political vendors that help those challenging incumbents in next year’s elections. Meanwhile, the criticism of former Vice President Joe Biden’s handsy mannerisms continues.
