House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told the Associated Press during an interview Wednesday that she was "very concerned" about Attorney General William Barr after he made unsubstantiated claims that federal authorities spied on the 2016 Trump campaign.

“I don’t trust Barr, I trust Mueller,” Pelosi said.

Chuck Todd, the Moderator of Meet the Press, host of Meet the Press Daily on MSNBC, and the political director for NBC News, told Boston Public Radio Thursday that Barr's comments would have been incredulous coming from a Fox News commentator, let alone the attorney general.

"It is an amazing charge it if were Dan Bongino on Hannity's show," Todd said. "To come from the attorney general, the chief law enforcement officer, was surprising, especially because he already has the answers, especially since there have been three investigations into this unsupported conspiracy theory."
