Has The ‘Blue Wave’ Already Broken?

It's been the constant drumbeat of the Democrats since November 9th, 2016: They have vowed to retake the House and Senate in the 2018 midterms. But with a handful of successes in the rearview mirror, there are signs the so-called blue wave might already be breaking. With a strengthening economy, foreign policy wins for Trump and rising approval numbers, it appears that some Democrats are starting to worry.

Jim Braude was joined by Jesse Mermell, former communications director for Gov. Deval Patrick and Hillary Clinton supporter, and Philip Johnston, former chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2016 primary.
