On Sept. 5, Gov. Deval Patrick took to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte with a rousing endorsement of his longtime friend Barack Obama. And like so many other politicians who have taken the stage, he also used the opportunity to disparage Obama's challenger, Mitt Romney.
