State legislators are hard at work today. Earlier this week the governor signed a 32.5-billion-dollar budget, but it’s the vetoes the legislature is pouring over — money for Taunton state hospital, proof of citizenship to obtain a drivers license, restrictions on EBT cards and raises for human services workers. Legislators need to decide whether to reverse those vetoes, and if they do, where they’ll find the money, a cool 300 million dollars.
