Amazon founder and owner of The Washington Post, Jeff Bezos, is accusing the National Enquirer’s parent company — American Media Inc. — of blackmail and extortion. Last month, the Enquirer published a story about Bezos and a woman he’s been having an affair with. This week, Bezos claimed AMI has been threatening to publish compromising photos and texts of him unless he publicly states he does not believe the Enquirer’s original story was politically motivated.
