Jasiel Correia, the youngest-ever mayor of Fall River, now faces federal indictments for alleged extortion, bribery and tax fraud. The twice-elected Correia rose to fame as a folk hero in some parts of his city, carried into office on the votes of die-hard supporters all while being accused of back-alley deals and shaking down hopeful marijuana business owners.
