In an agency-wide email the Justice Department announced that it will be requiring the use of the term "illegal alien" rather than "undocumented" when referring to people illegally in the U.S. The number of active-duty officers of Hispanic descent has more than doubled since 1995. However, in that time only one Latino has become a three-star general, a new study shows. Also, the Boston Public School Home Assignment Policy, which was meant to maintain equal opportunities for students across neighborhoods in Boston has done the opposite.
