Ahead of the annual Champions Mass Mentoring Breakfast at Fenway Park, Marty Martinez, president and chief executive officer of the Mass Mentoring Partnership, joined Boston Public Radio Weekend to discuss the importance of mentors in a young adult’s life.

“We believe that all young people need to have developmental relationships to reach their full potential,”  Martinez said. “It shouldn’t just be about where you come from ... all young people should have these opportunities.”

Mass Mentoring serves over 250 mentoring organizations across the state, supporting over 33,000 youth in quality mentoring relationships.
