A Massachusetts politician was center stage yet again in presidential politics, as Senator Elizabeth Warren joined Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail for the first time. Our senior senator quickly assumed a role she's come to relish. A pill bull gnawing on Donald Trump's ankle. Warren's ability to juice the progressive wing of the party with her fiery rhetoric reportedly has her on the short list for Vice President. Carly Carioli ( @carlycarioli ), a contributing editor at Politico. Jesse Mermell ( @jessemermell ), former communications director for Governor Patrick (Clinton supporter), and Robert Hedlund ( @SenBobHedlund ), mayor (republican) of Weymouth joined Jim to discuss the issues.
Plus, Attorney General Maura Healey ( @MassAGO ) joined us earlier on Boston Public Radio for our monthly Ask the A.G. segment, and she addressed a range of issues. Among them, the ongoing controversy over Boston Latin School and accusations claiming administrators mishandled multiple incidents of racism.
Then Tina Martin ( @TinaAroundTown ) introduces us to one Framingham couple that is fighting the battle against childhood hunger. It's a problem that plagues too many people here all year but can actually get worse in the summer months.
And, it's a pretty big change for a more-than-century-old institution. As of last month, Karen Van Winkle ( @HarvardClub374 ) became the first woman at the helm of the Harvard Club of Boston.
