The Boston Marathon is one of the most storied marathons in the world. Everyday runners toe the same starting line as Olympians, and crowds cheer all of them on every step of the way. We spoke to runners about the excitement of the start in Hopkinton, the agony of Heartbreak Hill, and the thrill of the finish line—along with everything they learn along the way. These are their stories, told in 26.2 short videos.

New videos will be added through Sunday, April 17.
