Police are investigating the sudden death of a 2-year-old girl who they say was found unresponsive at an apartment in Worcester.

Police found the girl Monday morning after receiving a report that a child was not breathing. Police say the girl was pronounced dead shortly after she was taken to a hospital.

Police say they did not see signs of trauma on the girl and that her exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
