Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is teaming up with Red Sox legend Curt Schilling to bring an end to chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products in Boston's ballparks — including Fenway Park.

Walsh wants a new ordinance that would ban the use of dip, chew, snuff and snus at all amateur and professional sports venues in the city.

The ordinance will go before the city council for approval next week and could go into effect as early as next year.
